Personal History

Born in the beautiful County of Suffolk, I have memories of drawing 'fashion show' outfits for my dolls,

during my childhood.  I later experiemented with various types of fabrics, styles and sewing techniques
and began seriously designing and making my own clothing, hats and bags at the age of 15.

In 1993 I graduated with an Honours Degree in Art and Design from the University of Westminster, in
London and continued my interest in both sewing and fashion.

Now, living back in East Anglia I enjoy using fabric from the local silk weavers Stephen Walters who supply
high quality silk designs to the major fashion capitals of the world. 

Having trained with the late Queen Mother’s milliner I am now proud to offer bespoke hats and fascinators of
the finest quality for any occasion and welcome enquiries and new customers.
